12 months ago we introduced our unique rules engine into the rentalresult software package. Using the rules engine, you can control employee workflow for every interaction they are likely to have based on the data available within the system.

For example, if you want to force a change in terms on a contract because the customer’s last 5 bills have been paid late then that simply becomes an inherent rule, if you want to force your user to go through a series of questions to find out WHY payments were late before applying that rule, then you can. You can use the answers to the questions to drive what the user should do next, and whether you should accept further business from the customer, put them on credit hold or simply generate a sales call for a salesperson to follow up with the customer later.
