Derek has over twenty years experience of New Product Development and Business Software Sales in the UK and Europe with a focus on major accounts eg. M&S, BHS, Allied Breweries, W H Smith etc. Lead the Management Buy-In of Result with David Griffiths in 1994, after working together for 5 years at Riva Systems where he built up the european food business. Developed a new business and marketing strategy to move Result from a small general software house to a focused rental niche software solutions provider delivering solutions worldwide.

David brings fifteen years previous experience as an accountant in a software development environment, including 5 years with Riva Systems, as they expanded from £15m to £60m throughout Europe. Lead the Management Buy-In of Result with Derek Robson in 1994. Responsible for all financial and cash management, budgeting and forecasting, contract terms and conditions, post sale commercial contract management, and managing relationships with suppliers.

James Horsfall - (Joined 1996)

After successfully leading on major implementations in the UK and Europe from 1999, James moved to the USA in 2003 to run Result Inc. He has put in place a great team of Project Managers and Trainers based in Phoenix AZ and Atlanta GA to implement rentalresult in North America, and has personally developed our relationship with the major equipment manufacturers and rental players. From 2007 he has added the Far East and Australia to his area of responsibility.

Helen Sowerby - (Joined 1998)

Helen joined Result in 1998 to set up our Business Intelligence (BI) Team. Today she leads the Innovations, Development, QA and BI Teams, and all pre-sale demonstrations and workshops, to ensure we clearly understand exactly what each client requires. Helen acts as the gate keeper of rentalresult, working with her teams to develop new ideas and business application benefits that will deliver a R.O.I. to every client who invests in rentalresult.

Robin Barter - (Joined 2004)
SVP UK & Europe
Robin has worked with Result since 1998, when he successfully implemented our rentalresult solution for a major technology rental company. His experience has let him develop his own team of Project Managers and Trainers to work with our major ‘blue chip’ clients in the UK and European market. Robin is also responsible for our IT and Support Operations covering all customers worldwide, and he manages our relationships with the major software vendors who we partner to deliver a total business solution.
